I parked in front of this car in Paddington

Camera Doesn’t really show how abandoned it seems to look

Probably ran out of battery and there isn't a charging point anywhere nearby.

Dropped my car off at a specialist a few week back, walked past this on my way to nearest pub. House falling to pieces, windows smashed, looked abandoned but there was someone living in it, lights were on when I walked back past it later in the day, noises could be heard, lots of abandoned vehicles.

This looks fairly well cleaned but, as the MOT ran out last year and it’s on SORN, hasn’t moved for a while.

There’s a Mk1 TT convertible near my brothers house which has been sitting in the same spot for the past couple of years and now has a bit of moss growing on it. I keep hoping the owner will revive it but if it’s still there at the end of the year I’ll consider it abandoned and will take a photo for this thread.

Continuing the TT theme spotted this over the last few years, has never moved, though interestingly MOT only ran out last year. The history of fails on it is quite the read!

These Nissans have probably been featured a long time ago. Pic on the Left is 2019. Right is 2008. And they were there for a few years before that as well ISTR. Disappeared mid 2020ish.

Saw this by chance. Old Mk5 XR3i Cab. Another thats been there since Google Maps started in 2008. Still there as of this year

An 8 year old Audi A3 that hasn’t moved in a while. Loving windscreen margin more interesting than the overall car.

Two cars here, the Granada Scorpio hasn't moved, going back to 2008 on Google Maps, the Volvo 240 GLT was on the road until 2019/2020, but hasn't moved since then. The Jag belongs to the same house, but is still in use at the moment, with the bumper back on.

This looks like it’s been there a while - opened windows probably means a very damp/ruined interior.

(325 cabrio, off the road for nearly 10 years)

(complete with its VR6 engine)

The chap i was talking to next door says they won't sell... or at least not for a sensible price, apparently they'd rather they turned to dust than let someone save them for an honest bid.

had a mate whose dad was the same, he would let the car sit and rust rather than accept even £50 less than his asking price

They were the first nissan 'suv' weren't they? If I remember right they didn't get a name for reliability did they?

Not sure how this began, I think it was a partnership thing with the University automotive dept, but it's been laid up for a loooooong time now.
