For those yet to buy my Book 3, 'Chasing Elites', it gives a brief history of the now iconic Type 14 Elite which dazzled the public
with its launch at the 1957 Earls Court Motor Show as a very advanced sports car
There are a few chapters following on from Books 1 & 2 with some additional info on my GT40 and Ferrari 275GTB
The book then focuses on one particular Elite: Chassis 1649.
Its full history is charted from its birth in October 1961 through to the present. It has had a difficult life until landing with us in 2015.

With all your help this week the book has achieved sales whereby all the self-publishing expenses are now covered and the children's hospice can now benefit.
Fundraising is a slow process but 'every little bit helps'

At last I have been brave and ordered a 4th reprint of Book 1 'Let them stare'
Here next week
Launch date was April 26th 2016...2572 sold so far
The book was very well received although because of the hospice fundraising involvement several words from the 60s,70s and 80s
had to be altered to meet new world PC requirements !

The GT40/1042 Tribute car with us..white with green stripes..has recently been sold to Canada for one million pounds
Part ex was a beautiful Ferrari Daytona spyder.
Maybe Andrew can bring that next time !
