A few weeks ago I was working in the back garden when my ears pricked up to the unmistakable sound of side-draught webers; imagine the delight at seeing this outside
The owner was a lovely gentleman and the ensuing conversation was as easy and flowing as was the evidence of his passion for his cars.
A few days later I was astounded to receive this gift through the post.
A delightful, interesting read of one mans journey through his cars - heartily recommended.
I thought that the least I could do in return was to post it here (I have no connection commercial or otherwise)

A chance meeting where fate intervened!
My daughter and I were driving out in the Elite
I was looking for a photo opportunity
We aimed for a beautiful manor house, Moyns Park, which I had not visited in 40 years ( see Book 1)
I knocked on the door of the nearest house as the gates to the big house were locked
By chance the owner knew the right people and we were in!
As a 'thank you' a few days later I sent Carsie my book
He posted on PH and from that 650 books were sold to PHers hugely benefitting the children's hospice
