Received my twin pack last week. Supposed to be for Christmas, but I started reading the first book and could not put it down. Finished it yesterday. Can not wait to start the second book.
They are fantastically written. I am recommending to all petrolheads, not only a great read, but for a fantastic cause.
So glad I was browsing the General Gassing last week and clicked on this thread!

Just found a group of photos from a Ferrari Owners Club meet at Brocket Hall, Herts in circa 1990
Lord Brocket as we all know now was a scallywag
This 288GTO ( one of 272 made all LHD) was then worth maybe £150,000 plus
The Auction estimates now are £2,000,000 > £2,500,000
In the trackday section of my book there is a photo of the Evo version...one of 5
Whatever is that worth ??

Got to the Doctor's chapter. Amused by your mention of John Tate, TA8. See attached photos taken by me, probably in August 1980 in the car park at Silverstone. It must be the Bentley Driver's Club Meeting.

I just received the email about the release of the new book and I've promptly ordered myself an early Christmas present! Thoroughly enjoyed part 1, can't wait for the second instalment.
Christmas holidays are looking all the more appealing now...

Back from my holidays, I found Volume 2 sitting at home ready to console me for the loss of Caribbean sunshine.
I've lost much of the afternoon bunking off reviewing some legal papers to read it from cover to cover.
An excellent read, great photos and for a wonderful cause!
