Cheers in normal times I would have collected them, I work in Earls Colne and am still working flat out at the moment as we are the sole distributors for a range of Disinfectants that are in huge demand.
Have you ever been involved with Borough 19, I used to do a lot of sprints in the local area including Hethel in a wide variety of cars I've owned over the years.
I used to live in Little Cornard. I’ve called the Five Bells in Colne Engaine and the Lion in Earls Colne my local ever since I take it your company is based on the airfield?Have you ever been involved with Borough 19, I used to do a lot of sprints in the local area including Hethel in a wide variety of cars I've owned over the years.
I also spent a lot of time courting in Cornard !
Elizabeth Walters her name; a cracking looking blonde..ESW in gold letters on the passenger door of my Triumph Spitfire registration 291 HYE
The house if I recall, 50 years ago, was called Little Mere
The Dad owned a Woolen Mill nearby and only had one leg

There’s a good novel lurking in here, E.M.Forster style mild social satire....all those lovely houses called “Windy Corner”, “Maple Rise”, “The Grey House”, etc....all terminally bourgeois. Lovely. “How oaken the hallway that welcomed us in to the six o’clock news and a lime juice and gin.”Elizabeth Walters her name; a cracking looking blonde..ESW in gold letters on the passenger door of my Triumph Spitfire registration 291 HYE

Twinpack arrived Saturday - many thanks, Micchael!
I'd had the pdf a couple of years ago but these are so much easier on the eye.
Lovely reminder of days gone by - life was so much simpler and more innocent then. Or is it just the rose-tinted spectacles?
You must have a great memory to recall all those anecdotes after so many years.

Thanks 'Millen'
I was fortunate to have masses of old photos, so in fact recall was relatively simple
I had to be careful with some of the tales though because of the children's hospice connection
The boss lady 'censor' was very strict with me
What 'words' were the norm 50 years ago seems to have changed 'meaning' somewhat!
