I used to live in Little Cornard. I’ve called the Five Bells in Colne Engaine and the Lion in Earls Colne my local ever since wink I take it your company is based on the airfield?
No not on the airfield in fact not very far from the Five Bells, I'm in the old railway station, only bought the business in February although I have worked here for 12 years.

When you read Book 1 you will note I bought my first Ferrari..a 1966 275GTB from a farmer in your village !
Books received on Saturday, well into book 1 at the moment and its seems so local to me almost every place you mention I've either been there, driven through there or lived there, the farmer with the 275GTB was at Shore Hall which I think was sold in 2015, I think they now live in Smiths Green, I can see the farm house from my bedroom window.

I've had a few cars in my time but the one that got away which I should never had sold was my 1964 Abarth 850TC which I had for a year and sprinted it at all the local places, Wethersfield, Debden, North Weald, Silverstone & Lydden Hill.

I also had a Sunbeam Ti like your wife mine had the reg number RAC 136W sold many many years ago and was promptly written off by the chap that bought it, I replaced it with a MKV Cortina Estate and a 100cc Zip Kart which I raced for a few years.

Great book

Yes Shore Hall
The owner from whom I bought the Ferrari was Ian Yates
He lives at Latchleys Manor on the way to Hempstead
I visited him two years...a long wait to catch up !

Here is my Youtube about the car if you have not seen it

I am pondering on Book 3 but it will be very different
Specifically about one car

I have been very lucky with these two books, a lot due to Pistonheads
The potential to lose money self-publishing is very real

If you did it wasn't in my ownership, however it was broken down on the side of the A11 many years ago causing quite a long tailback whilst I waited for the AA to come and tow me home - distributor shaft snapped in two.

Twin pack received today, many thanks Michael. Have had a 'quick flick' until I can sit and do them justice. Initial thoughts were simply 'wow'. Looking forward to a glass or two of decent red sat in my comfy chair in the conservatory at the weekend and having a proper read...

To save me going through pages of posts can someone kindly put a link to where I can view and purchase the books from.

Apologies for the laziness.
