You know what, I am fed up !
I travel a fair bit in areas I dont know.
I sometimes end up in the wrong lane !!!!!!!
IT HAPPENS !!!!
If someone indicates they need to change lane a bit later than you, perhaps they are new to the area.
Give them a break !
If they have not dangerously cut you up, why not just shrug your shoulders.
You dont need to flash, sound your horn, shout expletives etc.
People make mistakes !
I need to stop watching these daschcam clips for a bit !
(not aimed at any particular poster)
worst mistake you can ever make in a car is to indicate to let someone know you want to change lane, the knobber will just accelerate to block you I travel a fair bit in areas I dont know.

90% of the usual none events and terrible planning by the camera car drivers ...imdeman87 said:
The first clip is the perfect reason for not hanging around the side of a lorry for any linger than you absolutely have to.3.35 corsa even though cut the mini roundabout had priority so not sure what DCW was doing.
I love how Justin newsflash squared up to truck, then you hear his testicles ascend into his body, as truck plays back. Not a word said(i guess stting himself , only shouts at old grannies and women) but still time to press dash save button.
Both knobs but at least back it up Justin when you make the 'move'.

90% of the usual none events and terrible planning by the camera car drivers ...Third clip, I call that "st driving caught on cam" and unfortunately it's something I am seeing more commonly. Busier roads? Sat-Nav derp? Not sure.
Forth clip...slightly too fast, but this is a motoring forum where most people enjoy driving. It's very clear that the car pulling out didn't do a final left check!
Fifth clip...Meh.
Sixth clip...Cam car involved in "st driving caught on cam" but still...Not exactly a 'non event'.
Seventh clip...Cam driver isn't at fault, car just blocked the lane when visibility was poor to the right and left wasn't clear. Yet more st DRIVING!
This isn't Russia, we have a very high standard of driving so not every clip is going to be a fatality FFS.

Beyond idiotic, thankfully registration plates clearly shown, easy win for a friendly local PC
reading the responses on twitter from the MPS apparently they got away with just a warning and a thread to prosecute if that happens again, ridiculous lenienceedit: just saw burnzyb above me pointed that out lol

So the bloke who presumably drives for a living hires a hotshot lawyer to get him off a charge.I wonder why the police saw fit to charge him ? presumably on the word of the truck driver and maybe bystanders ? As always one assumes there was something we didn't see in the video..

I think there is a van behind the camera car, as the camera car passes the Peugeot he gets hit from behind by the van, sending him in to a spin. At the same time the van also hits the Peugeot, sending it on to its roof.
Camera car recovers from his spin the right way up, so stops sooner than the Peugeot that skids along on its roof.
The article says that the driver of the camera car was charged by police for road rage but his fancypants lawyer got it dropped. There is something we haven't seen on the video - maybe the camera car driver brake checked the van which incited the driver to hit him ? If you watch the camera car does seem to have a little wobble just as he gets alongside the Peugeot - did he back off, thus slowing up?
Either way, that video doesn't show the whole story.

Regardless of the reasoning behind the crash, I'm amazed that the large van and lorry drive away from the scene. Could easily have been a fatality in the Peugeot. Complete disregard to human lives when in danger. Cold hearted idiots.carreauchompeur said:

Does seem very plausible.Camera car recovers from his spin the right way up, so stops sooner than the Peugeot that skids along on its roof.

Note that the DCW laughs at around 5 seconds, van is clearly tailgating, DCW does a brake check (note the bonnet dip just after the laugh), which results in the 3 vehicle crash.

Not really - 180' roll and slide on the roof? No impact with anything else, unless they weren't wearing their seatbelts that's hardly likely to be fatal.
Bad form though, totally agree there.
The elderly, toddlers, babies, etc. would be more susceptible to injury and, ultimately a fatality. I've seen it before (worked in a&e).Bad form though, totally agree there.
Still disgusted by their actions of driving on.
