Situation not helped by the cammers piss poor lane positioning, hugging the left verge like that in a wide lane, the Volvo possibly thought they were planning to take the exit. Also at the point of contact the cammer appears to swerve slightly towards the Volvo, as opposed to swerving away into the empty hatchings. Big wide lane like that, sit in the middle, stronger road positioning than hugging the edge.

Literally no need for the other car to have clipped him other than the fact they panicked when their lane ran out and rather than make a dodgy unsighted chop to the right decided to cut in front of the cam car.

I'm sure I almost got caught out in a similar fashion at exactly the same spot.A stranger to the area I had done about 5 miles in my new car and was playing about with the air con, sat nav etc.
Lane 1 just disappeared as another car was alongside me in lane 2.

You could say the same about most of the DCW footage in several well known compilation videos.
