I always think if your horse is not safe on the road beacuse it's scared of traffic then don't take it on the roads.
If my dog was scared of fireworks i wouldn't take it to a fireworks show.
Who is she shouting at to slow down, the motorbikes? They look to be taking it plenty steady enough to me. The car driver was a wally though.

Bit unecessary from the biker blipping the throttle though, you can easily cause someone serious injury

That said I can't help but think if she spent more time concentrating on what she was doing rather than flapping at traffic to slow down then she'd be far less likely to have a problem. Plus the riding from the one in front is dreadful and the horse looks crocked so probably not the most competent bunch

Car driver did nothing wrong, it was the second biker who revved his engine after being told to slow down, although he didn't seem to be going very fast in the first place

I think it was the way she said it that caused him to get pissed off. Asking people to slow down is fine, shouting "Slow down NOW" isn't going to win friends.

I am not saying the biker wasn't a idiot he was for revving, but this idea some horse riders have of thinking they can just jump on a horse that is dangerous on the road and then demand everyone around them to do as they say is just bullst.
How many riders do you know that "jump on a horse".....ffs man, the vast number know the dangers and are well trained riders/horses.
Maybe you think you just go get a (many many £1000's of pounds) horse and go road riding ?

That is a country road, country things populate it, the drivers are duty bound to respect that.

Umm, that's how you get the horse used to being around traffic...

Obviously not, they are pretending to be police. Police horses are highly trained and not easily distracted, they are also ridden by excellent riders.
The passing drivers are mislead into believing that the horse and rider will bot be easily spooked by traffic

It's not hard to go slowly past a horse though is it. Jokes aside...I always be as forgiving as I can, irrespective of the experience of the rider/horse combo. Anyone who doesn't is a .
