Either way it's a crap diagram since it's encouraging those in lane 2 to exit into lane 1 despite explicitly advising that lane 1 goes straight over the roundabout to that exit as well.

Usually those kind of layouts have a merge arrow on the road at the exit.

Only shows 1 lane on exit two

Exactly. The lane is wide but still shows the car exiting up against the nearside.

Wouldnt this be a better line?

It also allows for the yellow car from a few slides down

That layout is not the same as the one in the video

Always amazes me how cyclists, having got themselves into a confrontation with someone in charge of a couple of tonnes of speeding metal, decide that getting in front of said throbbers is a good idea. rofl

What incident? Apparently roundabouts are a free-for-all and DCW should just accept it! biggrin

What a piece of crap! If you can't be identified when caught on a camera speeding then the simple rule is that they pick the registered owner of the car so they could do the same in this case. The law really is an arse in this country.

Unbelievable. One lesson from that though, dash cam driver is one of those "how dare you overtake me" s and it seems like this time flashing an overtaker backfired. I'm not justifying what the other tt did (quite contrary) just stating that had he not flashed them it wouldn't have happened.

Just no! I am sorry, you seem to have no clue about how a dc roundabout works.

You really need a few more driving lessons, but in the meantime look at this especially the dual carriageway roundabout bit!

http://www.learners-guide.co.uk/lessons/roundabout...

Plus dcw was actually dropping back not undertaking

The clip starts with the DCW behind the police car and ends with it passing on the correct side at the end having made a complete dick of themselves in between.
As this is far from similar to any of the simplistic pictures in your link, if plod had indicated left as he had entered the roundabout and taken lane 2 of the first exit DCW would have been totally screwed. DCW and you seem to live in a Janet and John simplistic world where there is no space for Prudence
