Haha, what a scummer, and people behind did nowt. Shame the 'target' car didn't see him, great opportunity to wind it up to 20mph then spot a dog running into the road... wink

Nasty. The bike isn't hanging around, the lorry could quite easily sit behind the bike and make decent progress, plus there's a traffic island in the road as the lorry passes.

That said, were I the cyclist I'd hang back after that. The lorry driver seems intent on having a cyclist under his wheels.

Man, that was the most tedious bunch of non-events yet. I stopped watching halfway through, and I'm an addict for compilations like this.

one on the way home, poor anticipation by myself sitting on cruise control. In retrospect should have hung back. Focus was doing well under the speed limit.

Definitely, it's always good to learn from our mistakes- I doubt you were visible to the van driver pretty much throughout.

Cruise control, in road works, approaching merging lanes? Brave.

I use cruise in roadworks, (like 40 limits), regularly. A limiter is better but I've since downgraded. frown

Where was that out of interest? I recognise it but cant place it. Thinking Bellshill(ish)

ETA:- Just played it back and read the sign on the left. So it was.

correct, the new M8/A725 merge southbound, had average speed cameras there for ages to cruise is a habit there now.

That's the trouble with ludicrously narrow cycle lanes though- you can (sort of) see truck driver's point, even though he is absolutely wrong. It's a conflict made much more likely by poor road design and it's why lots of cyclists ride to the right of their lane for safety.

Is it just me or do many of the clips involving mini roundabouts seem be a case of the cam car driving across them instead of around and then getting hissy overs not following the rules - a case of the kettle calling the pot black lol

What was it that fell from the sky at the end of the last exposed? It looks like a windscreen wiper then the vid references a Jet 2 Jet at the end.

No pictures of the object but pics of the damage. Ice? Wiper from the plane? Could have been very nasty.

That is mental, could have killed someone if it fell on them.
Bit weird how the dashcam is pointing upwards though (not that I'm suggesting this is staged), not a lot of use in an accident.

How else are they going to be able to have so many clips to post? The more they do this the easier it is to justify getting to camera as the roads are just so dangerous.

The DCWs in cars are just following the example set by our cycling vigilante 'friends' where they go looking for issues and if they can't find any create them. It's just the cyclists started a few years ago and are far better at whinging and whining like 3 year olds over nothing. The car DCWs are catching up over time though.

Bokkenrijder is a world class prick. If he looked at his own riding before attempting to police the road by rev limiter we'd all be better off.
