I had to get my headphones for that as I originally couldn't see the problem...

To be fair, he/she are still a massive numpty for crashing, but Jesus wept. This sums up everything wrong with driving on the roads today...as if it's some massive queue we are all destined to be part of. Definitely noticed it is worse since Brexit.

I will laugh off your last comment about brexit, as everything else you said is spot on. There is a huge mentality problem with drivers in this country. One reason i'm glad my mr2 turbo is pretty nippy, I am passed and away before they even know i'm behind them.

Wow! Can someone tell me what was wrong with that overtake?! Seemed perfectly executed (apart from the crashing later).

What gets me is her language with her son in the car. She calls the overtaker a prick and her son says: "Me?!" Then there is all the swearing later. Fine British example that has unfortunately bred.

Not using headphones but I don't think I can make out any rise in revs. Certainly can't SEE any increase in speed so it's not like she contributed to his crash.

Saxo was carrying too much speed into what wasn't just a blind corner, it was a junction. Should be slowing for the junction not overtaking. I don't see any problem with swearing in stressful situations, that's what expletives are for.

She had kicked off at being overtaken. The Saxo still had enough time to pull in and could have adjusted his speed for the corner. He was nowhere near the bus like she suggests.

It was at 8 seconds she kicked off and at that point she had zero reason to be upset or stressed. There was no need for her language or horn honking which wasn't the world's worst overtake.

10-11 seconds later the Saxo made a complete mess of the following corner. Two separate incidents.

Arguably honking her horn could have pressurised the Saxo driver to keep his foot in things longer than he should. That's still his mistake.

As others have commented, if you listen carefully you can hear the revs rise when she realises the Saxo is going to overtake, also posibly sounds like an auto maybe? with a kickdown
