She admitted she tried to block him, if they charge the Saxo driver they'll need to charge her too, she should be bloody thankful they didn't do anything.
She means that she tried to block him in after the accident to stop him driving away because she felt he was high on drugs...
She parked on the other side of the road and cars were going between them. It looked like she just drove off. He had nowhere to move with all the cars coming on his side of the road.

I'd be surprised if the Saxo wasn't badly damaged after that and not able to speed away.

Can someone ask for her to upload more video on Liveleak?

The Saxo speeding off is quite an interesting bit to chop off the video.

They were idiots, but why did you stop though, as you had room to pass and go on your way?
Just to pick up on this question... a while ago I saw a very similar occurrence, some numpt-ar$e turned in to a one-way street, stopped as there was a oncoming car blocking the path..... space for both to pass, which is what the oncoming car did.
But at the same time the numpt-ar$e got all in a muddle and started to perform a 79-point turn which included t-boning the passing car.

I always think that if someone does not have the driving skills to notice big no-entry signs then the safest thing to do is not create a situation that makes things more complicated.... keep everything dumbed down and as simple as possible, like no other moving vehicles.
Don't be daft, you should stop a driver from going the wrong way.

What happens if they run a pedestrian that was looking left not expecting a car from the right, other driver not expecting oncoming traffic?

Ok, other road users should always drive with caution, but you should not let someone needlessly increase risk.

Surprised the Police didn't contact social services with that amount of bad language infront of a young child.
That female driving Porsche driver that did that botched dangerous overtake a while back had no further action so something like that wouldn't warrant anything either.

none of us are going to look too clever after that incident if our car had nearly flipped....he was probably in some state of shock.

the womans voice though "sorry doesnt really cut it".......in other words the guy shouldve just said nothing to her had he known that his apparently genuine apology was wasted on her. Parents too always want to bring their kids into the equation.

Yes.....but from the other side of the road after a car has just semi flipped......nope

Her actions however may indicate that she had been drinking...aggression, poor road decisions, uncontrolled swearing in the presence of children.....

Wow she really is an obnoxious self righteous selfish potty mouthed bint.
The first thing she should have said to him on stopping is, are you all right and the second thing is, if you are going to drive too fast around a bend dont lift off.
Agreed. The overtake was fine. No risk to her. No idea why she was so upset about that. Fact that bloke binned it on the bend was none if her business - and she should have called the police ther and then if she had a serious concern. Not just drive off.

Her language in front of her child was a total disgrace. She should be ashamed (but, of course, she won't be because she is clearly a Chav).

You just know if someone else swore anywhere near her child she would go off her head as well.

Overtake looked fine to me, if anything her speeding up and use of the horn probably caused him to carry more speed into the corner than he otherwise would have.

UPDATE!!

Today I received a letter from Hampshire Constabulary informing me that as much as I begged them to take the footage, they will be taking no further action. Go figure.

Thanks for the update! Glad to see most here agreed with me. Her accelerating and giving the horn really grated me.

So the driver "thought he was high", no evidence, no point in pursuing it. What did he expect, no one hurt.

I thought her initial comments as the car crashed wasn't what I wasn't expecting, almost as she didn't give a toss if he had injured himself or not.

Only on PH would people get high and mighty about somebody swearing and using their horn rather than the gigantic throbber that clearly can't drive for st and could have caused serious injuries to any innocent parties caught up in his ineptitude.

Bottom line is both parties drove badly.

Mind, the 'lady' using the C word in front of her own child?

This bit, makes my teeth itch -
“Police enquiries have now been completed and having regard to all the circumstances of the incident and the evidence available, it has been decided that no further police action will be taken.

“Under our current policy, Hampshire Constabulary will not be investigating incidents of this nature unless there is a significant ongoing threat to public safety, or if the vehicle is a known repeat offender for traffic offences.”

And that is why people despair at how our roads are managed. Go 80 on an empty motorway at 3am, when a 'smart' gantry tells you you 'need' to go 50, lose your licence. Overtake in to the path of a lorry before losing control on a bend, no action taken.

Personally I've had enough of this bks.

It's impossible to identify the driver of the Saxo in that footage. The Saxo didn't hit any other vehicles and I may be wrong but Farmer Giles probably doesn't give a toss about his verge and hedge being bumped. If Police didn't attend the scene then the woman's assertation that he was stoned is worthless. She gave a good blast of the horn as he passed, a decent motoring lawyer would have a field day; 'I put it to you my client was shocked at the sudden horn noise whilst carrying out a perfectly legal overtake and ended up losing control as a result'.
So I'd imagine that looking at the footage evidentially, there's not really enough to charge, and in relation to public interest it's probably lacking too. If you remove the DCW from the equation, it appears to be a young lad who's taken a corner a little too fast and bumped his car. Not really worth chasing a prosecution in the grand scheme of things.
