Impatience.
1:15, plenty of room for the car to come in. DCW sped up slightly instead of backing off slightly. How did he think that was going to happen?
2:00 - signs that a lane is closing yet DCW seems surprised that the person in front moves across. Extra point for 'stting peugeot'
4:10 - plenty of time to move to the outside lane, but not without holding the horn on first
4:22 - DCW sped up to block off the car - inevitable collision when two dheads meet - compounded with blocking the road so he could get a photo

Half that video is over angry tossers shouting about totally ordinary things that happen on the roads, as if they've never been caught in the wrong lane. If they can't hack it without getting that enraged they really should be on a bus.

I implore people to read your posts, they are hilarious, your responses cheer me up.
Nothing like reading the lectures of a fool who replaces the law with his own opinion and try's to disect people's driving ability with the use of complete guesswork and some rubbish about you doing more miles than others so your opinion is actual fact by which others should be measured.
Please give us more.....especially the rolling head thing you did in your reply to me where you ignored the basics of the question and instead applied some ridiculous arbitrary measure of 100mph followed by a very much needed recital of mirror, signal manoeuvre.
Sadly as my annual mileage is down in recent years from the heights of 110k per year to maybe 80k I fear I am in no way qualified, using your own measure, to question such expertise........

More vids please for this muppet to rule his law on, we can all learn.......

Apparently, people are leaving bad company reviews of ILLUMNI Electrical Contractors on the back of his aggresive actions. tut tut.
He's done it again?, did he not learn last month when he did the identical thing, and it went viral on facebook, had 2 or 3 pages on here, and was in the national papers.

What a peculiar non-incident.

The biker was as remarkable and atypical in his response to the entirely unwarranted confrontation as the eejit was bizarrely highly strung. He just calmly pottered on with life. Not even a blipped throttle.

Angry man needs help or he'll be a premature heart attack statistic some time soon. Maybe fatherhood will calm him down a bit.

Please explain how it's not a similar situation, where it states that's illegal and...
1. It's not a motorway. - it's still a road
2. You are not changing lanes - still moving position on road with space
3. The speed limit is unlikely to be anywhere near 70mph. - the vectors are in same direction
4. The car behind is already having to move over to go round the same car. - same as cycling situation

shost said:
What should a cyclist do if they reach a parked car? Stop and wait to be allowed to go round it?
If they carry out appropriate checks and determine the move would be unsafe due to following traffic then ABSOBLOODYLUTELY!! Rightly or wrongly, if you as a cyclist choose to argue with a car "just because I have the right" then you deserve to get run over.

Terrible attitude. I'll assume you are just trolling if you think that. Obviously not talking about a speeding distracted dangerous driver i wouldn't put myself in harm but do you seriously think that I should stop my bike to let sir drive past without delay?

shost said:
Have you passed a driving test?
Yep. I have my doubts whether you have.
Yes 17 years ago. I suspect you probably haven't read the highway code that recently...

my comments in bold

Key difference that Centurion missed is that the cyclist is approaching a motionless vehicle whereas the driver on the motorway is approaching a still moving car in the same lane. This means slowing down does not mean stopping, so you can continue to make progress without disrupting other traffic on the road. You appear to think you can switch lanes no matter what.

For the cyclist approaching a stationary vehicle slowing down isn't enough you'd have to stop - unless you'd taken appropriate action earlier.

Hackney, I think you are mixing my comments with Centurion.

Ultimately all I'm suggesting is that drivers not in left most lane could be a bit more considerate to the fact that they are overtaking too and try to accommodate well indicated and planned manouvours into an appropriate gsp with a lift. Rather than accelerating and gesticulating. It would help everyone get on with their journey!

What a nasty aggressive bloke. My pregnant wife. fk right off. Hopefully he'll do it to the wrong biker next time and get his block knocked off.

For all those whinging about not being able to affect someone's speed, it has to work both ways. If you're willing to speed (Yes, 70+ mph) then you need to consider all risks. This IS NOT Germany where excessive speeds are normal...

I find the only time this is a problem for me, is when the person in the middle lane 'wakes up' as I am passing them. What should have only taken a few seconds, turns into a duel where I have to decide if I want to break the speed limit or back off and annoy the person approaching at an unreasonable speed in the outside lane.

I felt quite sorry for the bloke, he just ended up leaving the supermarket again after Illumni tt and the other completely unrelated woman had a go.

I get similarly upset when people are just bizarrely aggressive!
