basically 2 knob heads meet. i mean what what the lorry hauling, life support machines? or maybe the usual fodder but he had to get in front on the car for pointless reasons most likely.
The taxi man pissed off tries to undertake but fails henceforth the slagging match. if either had ceded, then just had a rant. the story would have faded into the ether, but someone lost there job over such a trivial matter.

I really don't understand road rage, people that would probably open the door and let you in first if a similar thing happened in the post office get behind the wheel and turn into utter tts

Newsflash ,nobody is getting there any faster

When I stop on a roundabout near me when the ped crossing lights are red and the white writing on the road say KEEP CLEAR, to allow vehicles to pass in front who are going to the opposite exit, all I get is TOOT TOOT TOOT, from punters behind me.

Some folks mentality. The Bridge past the lights often gets standing water in the gutter after a downpour, lat week on approach, noticed woman and pushchair on the pavement, so I slowed as not to splash her, usual reaction from car behind TOOT TOOT TOOT.

Whats up with drivers these days.

The taxi was off the road, trying to 'overtake'.

I'll be honest, I can't understand the cab drivers mentality.

I mean yes the lorry was in the outside lane and kind of in the way but the taxi was clearly behind the lorry before the road split back into two lanes. He's taken it upon himself to come right up alongside the lorry and lost his temper when the lorry driver cuts him off. Who in their right mind drives half on the grass to prove that point.

That said if the lorry driver behaved as mentioned in the previous he's clearly a scummer but I can't help thinking the cab driver instigated the issues rather than just taking a breath and leaving the lorry to it.

I try to drive like I try to live my life.... Treat people the same way I would like to be treated by others.

So when someone is in the wrong lane or makes a mistake I try to give them space and let things go.

We all make mistakes, especially on unfamiliar roads.

People need to chill the fk out on the road and in life in general. Everyone is so angry these days, too quick to fight over meaningless little events.

I have to agree. The lorry had no chance of overtaking that line of cars over such a short distance. Why block that lane unless you specifically wanted to wind someone up?

Doesn't excuse the taxi's actions of course.

They are both complete cocks, the lorry is also badly tailgating the MPV.

He probably wasn't intending to overtake anyone, just prevent other people from getting past him on the run up to the lanes rejoining.

Seen lots of HGV/LGV drivers do this, and bizarrely - middle-aged MPV drivers as well...

Lorries should have to stay in the left lane on dc's and m'ways, there would be less of this behaviour.

Taxi driver was out of order but truck driver had terrible forward planning at best but more likely was being a selfish pratt

Wow he's put the 'Rage' into Road Rage.

Pointing at someone and saying "You're under a citizens arrest" doesn't make it so...he's got spectacular anger issues and really shouldn't be on the road as he's unable to control himself...what a fruitcake.

Overlooking the fact that the focus shouldn't be taking advantage of the box area to push in to a queue, is it really that surprising that they clearly weren't expecting the bike to be there in this situation?

https://youtu.be/8tM23mX-tu4?t=169

Or is filtering like this fair enough?
