That looks like a thoroughly horrible place to drive.

Whilst reviewing the footage of my dashcam I saw an officer turning left without indicating, a clear contravention of section 1274 of the Highway Code. I was appalled
TBH, I had to watch twice, I think it's more to do with clipping the kerb as he comes into view. Might have been distracted by the OP parked up.Whilst reviewing the footage of my dashcam I saw an officer turning left without indicating, a clear contravention of section 1274 of the Highway Code. Whilst some of those are actual bad driving by the car in front, I shake my head waaaay more at the driving, reaction and attitudes of the cam car drivers. Those guys really need to calm the hell down, realise that other people make mistakes and, gawd forbid, read the damn road ahead! So many mountains out of so many molehills.V8FGO said:

Yep the E type summed that up perfectly, just come off the loud pedal.Perhaps the highway code should have a new preface, Two wrongs don't make a right

For what exactly?
Probably should have explained. He was parked in that set of bays. Reversed out a little bit but instead of driving down the road he drove down the line of bays. He was headed straight for the curb but sees it at the last minute and goes over the curb. Then off he goes....
Not really bad. Just interesting...

Looe, Padstow, Mevagissey, St Ives etc should ban traffic to all but residents access and emergency services during these busy periods, in my opinion! Important deliveries can be made in the morning and nobody else should have reason to access the tight roads during the busy period. If they do, for whatever reason, they should expect it to be very crowded and exercise caution / patience. After all, these businesses would not exist if it weren't for the "entitled generation" which solely fund them.

Nobody seems to have noticed he only had his DRL on, maybe if he had his headlights on he'd have missed the kerb. V8FGO said:

It's the attitude of many visitors which makes such places hell for locals to visit, whether it's work related or not. Whilst Cornwall appreciates the business, it's nice when the County reverts to normal without the arrogance of many visitors, the hesitant bad driving not to mention the subtly increased prices we see for 2 months.
Deliveries outside of certain times has been suggested but travelling around the county any distance in the summer months takes 2 or 3 times longer and varies according to weather & where tourists are heading.
Just listen to Radio 2 on a Friday evening to hear who's calling in & where they are heading and what roads they are stuck on - OK it's only 1 or 2 weeks for them, it 2-3 months for us.

To be fair, those roads don't really look like 'roads' with all the cobbled paving.
It looks like a half arsed attempt at pedestrianising but still giving access to vehicles.
You've hit the nail on the head there, no definition between pavement & roads, particularly if visitors are used to proper pedestrian zones. It's even worse trying to cycle through these towns, wouldn't want to try in an electric car.It looks like a half arsed attempt at pedestrianising but still giving access to vehicles.

Wouldn't have been a issue if he was driving in the road and not in the parking bays.
I was stationary and the car was there before he even set off.
