I'm waiting to appear on a driving video soomn after yesterday, came to this roundabout...

I was behind 2 other cars all of us heading south on the A350 I was heading to stay on the A350 so stayed in the right hand lane indicating right, the other 2 cars kept to the left lane (no indication as to where they were going), turns out they also intended to follow the A350 south but then got all angry as according to them the correct procedure is to stick to the outside all way round the roundabout
Looks straight on to me, I cant see a right turn, I also can't see two lanes approaching and on the roundabout.https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.43459,-2.1324527...

It's straight on according to the sign as you approach for the north.https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.4364974,-2.13531...

I'd disagree - the A350 on that sign is definitely past the 12-o-clock position and hence would constitute a junction "to the right" as mentioned in highway code rule 186. The next sign makes this even more obvious.https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.4364974,-2.13531...
There are no road markings to indicate otherwise so I'd have done what Saleen836 did.

If there was actually an exit 3/4 of the way round everyone would class the A350 exit as straight on, demonising anyone who got in the right lane as jumping the queue. Also as I mentioned, where is this outside lane you speak of, no lane markings either on the approaches or on the roundabout itself, just a wide single lane all the way round.
Maybe there is no right lane because there is no right turn.
Maybe there is no right lane because there is no right turn.

Not this old chestnut again There are no road markings to indicate otherwise so I'd have done what Saleen836 did.
No one is going to take a protractor to that sign
You have a big road in an the bottom, a big one out at the top, if you have two lanes in and out it's for all intents and purposes straight across
There are roads with a bigger angle than that and its still straight across
The left lane can be used to take that left turn
Some people do indicate right then left when taking straight ons

Love the way the bloke at the end turns and walks away missing all the action.boobles said:

Seems rather unlikely, you can clearly see they indicate before moving out.Mr2Mike said:
