The "Sh*t Driving Caught On Cam" Thread Vol 3
Discussion
This was one of several from this morning:
It's an NSL road that does a left then slight right over a crest followed quickly by a junction. Caution is needed at the best of times.
Credit to the Travis Perkins lorry coming the other way who ceded priority to us so that we could get past before anyone barrelled into the back of us Not sure I'd want to be standing milling around the cars as several were.

That second clip of the corner cutting. Is it just me that thinks this is becoming common. I'm so much more cautious approaching t-junctions nowadays as there seem to be loads of people who drive exactly like that second clip. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5517937/Mo...

At the top of the road I love on, the junction is quite an acute angle where it meets the main road. Turning left out of it is almost like a slip road, where as turning right is a full lock job. Was waiting to turn right there the other day with a car approaching from the left. So as I'm waiting for him to pass, he suddenly indicates to come into my street. I was half expecting him to flash me out as it's awkward to go around but no, he just cut across the junction behind me, barely slowing down. Literally no thought whatsoever to the possibility something else might be approaching the junction.

Yeah I reckon so! There's a few junctions near me where you have to approach cautiously as on many an occasion I've approached and had a car turn into the junction cutting across my lane. Gad-Westy said:

Don’t see it so much around these parts. A lot of the clips with it done badly seems to be in the northern parts, as does the overtaking on the wrong side of a junction move.My pick of the pops locally:
1. [Typically old people] that drive around bends about 6-inches into the opposite carriage way - seemingly completely oblivious
2. [Typically old people or teens] that roll straight out of junctions without assessing the speed of oncoming traffic who then make no effort to get up to speed
3. [Mostly mum-types in their 30s/40s] driving SUVs or people carriers about an inch from the rear bumper in 30 or 40 limits
4. The 45 is the new 50 in a 60 (and everywhere) brigade
5. The Jaguar on the A3 this morning that didn’t move to the inside lane once between joining at the A27 and when I left it for Woking - despite light traffic with the inside lane empty about 80% of the time (I wasn’t in rage mode so sat back, but some days I’d be real mad!)

Had this on the A1M a few weeks ago, in the 4 lane section - Hyundai i10 sitting at ~65mph in L3With traffic being extremely light I managed 4 orbits before they took the hint, each one getting more obvious.....
