All personal opinion of course.

I'll stick my neck out and put the GTR up, as I always like the side profile roof line

GTR over a Shelby Daytona roofline? You must have vaseline over your eyes hehe
I like the Daytona roofline VERY much, it was the Aston in David87's post I was referring to..............now whose got Vaseline in their eyes hehe...........perhaps I didn't format the wording and pics in the right order biggrin

I think the mini, MINI and Range Rover deserve a mention for their floating rooflines.
Regardless what you might think of the rest of the car, the roofline has remained a prominent design feature

Loved my E46 M3 roofline
I'm a little biased but I think the rear 3/4 view of the E46 coupé is just spot-on.

For my money, the W214 CL500 was one of the best shapes to come out of MB

Lovely car, the roof line is certainly not one of the good features of the car. The area where the C pillar meets the rear quarter is a complete mess, the windows look all wrong.

Not seeing it at all sorry, it just looks like an awkward looking bit of steel thats been hacked on to a car, like someone chopped a bus shelter up to make a roof for their car.

Some of the suggestions here I "get", some I don't - but that thing - I'd go as far as saying it looks absolutely hideous.

It's a bit Marmite but it's one of the reasons I bought a CLS in the first place...

Totally agree with you on this. Brilliant looking car - a design classic in my book.

The Espada - it shouldn't work but somehow it does, no doubt some will disagree but I think it manages to look purposeful and eleagant...

Such a shame they haven't quite hit the mark with the latest version. I mean the CLA looks like a junior version of the original CLS but even still, it's not quite there.
