Black wheels - am I wrong?
Discussion
I think I could win the award in this thread so far for the least power with black wheels (they are OEM, though)...
Couldn't care less, though. Not a fan of silver at all, even down to chrome trim (which I hate). It's a good thing that we're all different.
I also generally love seeing anything a bit different on the road, even it's a Corsa with pink wheels. Never really got the anger/hatred towards such things, sure beats seeing yet another silver repmobile when sat in traffic.

A few years ago, black wheels on cars were quite a rarity. They were generally found on top spec ‘sporty’ versions of cars. Nowadays any lightly breathed on warm hatch seems to have black wheels.
I used to think black wheels were cool, I’m now starting to think they look a bit tacky. It's a bit like when car manufacturers went mad sticking spoilers on any remotely quick cars back in the 80s.
Am I wrong? Please discuss.
Never liked black alloys, always thought they looked chavvy - only a white colour can pull them off, unless it's a GT3!I used to think black wheels were cool, I’m now starting to think they look a bit tacky. I have one car with black wheels and although generally I dislike them the car has other black parts of bodywork so it kinda works.
However, they are a bh to clean - the moment they're wet they look clean so very hard to be sure you've got them thoroughly done until they've dried and you see where you missed loads.
