Black wheels - am I wrong?

My car came out of the factory with black wheels - but I am upping my black game. Because I ordered my car with 'stripe delete' package (I think they look a bit wk covered in vinyl stripes), mine came with a chrome fuel door, which looks a bit out of place when the rest of the trim is black.

Black wheels tend to work on any colour car other than white, black or silver IMO.

I think all Craig is doing is pointing out the judgemental generalisations on here get a little wearing, it seems unless you conform to some notional norm with your vehicle choice, colour, numberplate, modifications etc. you are fair game for mindless derision by a certain kind of poster that PH seems to attract. Personally I find the whole 'council' thing a bit distasteful and it represents the worst side of Pistonheads. Fortunately other threads and posters balance this out as there is a very good side to this forum too. All just in my opinion obviously!

The new civic is such a hideous looking car. Makes an Impreza look subtle.

My black on black looks nice when clean i think, especially with the factory option rear tinted windows.

Correct CB. Sorry Toni it wasn’t aimed at you I just quoted one of your sentences. For what it’s worth I’ve had cars with silver, black, blue and platinum wheels and it’s just my choice at the time based on what I though looked good.
