The Vector W2

The later W8 had a multi display LCD screen - more like an aircraft

For no discernible reason, the Fiat Uno Turbo has came up in conversation today with a mate, and a comment was made about it having the largest number of analogue gauges at seven

A quick search shows that an Integrale has eight, six in the main cluster and two at the top of the centre console.

for no other reason than to amuse yourself for a few minutes, can anyone come up with a car that beats eight analogue gauges?

Must have came from the factory like that and fancy analogue displays don't count.
I specced the digi-dash in my Uno Turbo back in the day.

Interesting to see a lower calibrated rev counter but a higher calibrated oil temp gauge compared to the analogue.

My Uno Turbo had the analogue dash, but seeing the pods either side of the digi dash took me right back to when I was 18! Clever design that allowed them to omit the stalk mounted controls.

I can only think of another 8-er - early Countach.

I'm sure a handful were turbocharged and may have had one or two more gauges fitted but I haven't found a pic yet.
I see no gauges wink

cool The clock has a clock in it
Well spotted, so that's eleven analogue dials! smile
12 if you count the lap counter, it is analogue after all.

I'm not going to claim most gauges, but there is something much more pleasant in viewing analogue gauges than digital ones, or switches that light up. 205 GTI has 6, and they make me think the car is alive then they're all moving.

174,470 miles on an Uno Turbo must be worthy of some sort of medal, mustn't it?

Lancia Trevi, I know it's a bit shy on gauges but look like it has loads.

I love that the entire dash is digital, except for odometer which is still mechanical, whereas for most cars, the first element of the dashboard to become digital was most probably the odometer while the rest remained analogue.

Looks like KM rather than miles, but that's still around 110k miles so not bad going for something that probably spent most of its life wheelspinning down the high street.

It's great, isn't it? I used to enjoy the 5 on my 106, watching undamped/fiddled with water and oil temps were good.

I used to like the BMW clocks in the E36/E39, and the vacuum economy gauge.

I miss lots of gauges, as a petrolhead I want to know what my oil temp/pressure and battery voltage is :-(

This was one thing I liked about driving my dad's old Grand Cherokee. Particularly the fuel gauge, which moved a bit too quickly hehe

I agree. I went all modern and put a digital dash in my kit car. Looks very neat but I REALLY miss the sweeping gauges. I think I will end up putting proper gauges in again.

Retro fit some like I have to my shed old Passast.

Problem is on newer cars is there isn't a place in dash to fit them.
