Which cars are classy these days?
Discussion
There are almost no classy people so no cars to be associated to.
Who is the public eye is actually classy? When was the last time you saw an elegant or stylish member of the general public? This is why people are struggling to come up with any modern car that is classy and having to resort to cars of the past.

I can't tell whether people mean cars which conform to a certain understated aesthetic or cars which are owned by a certain social class. If the latter, sorry chaps, you can't really tell.
It's never been the same since the proles started getting their hands on money. Now you apparently have to drive something 15 years old and smelling of wee to be classy.Another bonkers thread.

With all due respect (And speaking as a previous advocate and previous owner of e60s including two 535d M Sports), whilst perhaps you thought that that picture of an e60 sitting in an industrial estate behind a transit van, and beside a skip with a shaven headed bloke called "Big Jim" in shot was showing the "classiness" of the e60 shining through, sadly i think it fits right in these days... I think that (with the picture as supporting evidence) might be the worst submission of the thread so far
A reminder of what class and elegance is:
Or rather, was. Hence the thread!

What we are really talking about is elegance.
There is very little elegance in modern car design as it seems to be all about a sporty, aggressive look.
to look old.
I agree. There is very little elegance in modern car design as it seems to be all about a sporty, aggressive look.
to look old.
Overstyled, agressive to meet the criteria of having the most road presence.
There is a good reason in why the bangle era bmws have aged much better.
Organic line flow and cleaner surfaces.
