Which cars are classy these days?
Discussion
I think my general determining factor is "how likely is the driver of that car to be someone who behaves in a classy manner - in all aspects of life".
It's the same way you judge people on first impression on their appearance. Some people you perceive to be more likely to have good manners and to treat you in a classy way, others not so likely. Sometimes you'll be surprised, in either direction. Other times your preconceptions will be confirmed or reinforced.

Skimmed the thread, so sorry if it's been done.
Modern car that's classy?
Audi A8 (or S8) Any power train.
(And I don't like Audis)
Why? Completely understated. Very competent. Seldom seen in vulgar colours or with blingy wheels.
People that own them seem to know the car is good, and generally drive them like they've nothing to prove.

iii.) Was the car design created to grab attention? a.) Yes b.) No
v.) Will people buy the car used because its the fastest thing they can buy for the money? a.) Yes b.) No

Any a.)'s to the above and you do not have a 'classy car'. All b.)'s then is passes - try it!

Due to the sad fact that new cars all look aggressive, a serouisly classy car thus has to be an older one. My suggestion is an gen. 1 Volvo S80 in dark blue with a bright interior.
An S80 like that is banger money. To me it suggests the driver is either a curmudgeonly OAP or a penniless skinflint.MaxSo said:

Nice looking street, and nice Volvo and Landie, but what about the Pug 206 and Lexus RX on the other side of the street? Are they "classy"?
No, I wouldn't say they are, would you? To clarify, I just meant it was quite a classy street in the sense that two of the cars frequently mentioned on here as being classy were somewhat conincendtally parked next to one another. The Land Rover is a particularly nice looking (to my untrained eyes) example which I walk past faily often.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
