Are the centre lock wheels smaller in diameter?

I'm a little amused at the commentary suggesting Lamborghini have somehow jumped ahead of Ferrari and McLaren.

A single lap "record" of a single circuit, with one model, eh?

Do you really believe manufacturers involved in F1 are not capable of applying whatever aerodynamics (not to mention all the other alphabet soup of systems they might choose to apply) they deem appropriate?

Nice toy, to be enjoyed, until the big guns roll out their next effort. And so the game continues.

Tried doing some research to see how much downforce the standard car generates & found that when it was released all Lamborghini quoted was '50% more than it's predecessor'... Think I'll assume it's not very much before I end up back at the Miura...

750% is not very helpful.

At the preview events it was stated as 750kg of downforce. Maybe a typo from PH?

""When ALA is off the rear flaps are closed, permitting the rear wing to act as a traditional fixed wing. Stability is enhanced in high speed cornering and full braking by creating maximum vertical downforce; 750% more than a Huracán coupé.""

750kg is higher than proper GT3 racing cars incidentially. You're dreaming if you think any road car is going to produce that kind of downforce numbers.

All that forged carbon for only a 40Kg reduction in weight on an already heavy car? Not to impressive.

I do like the green one posted, looks much better in that spec! Hopefully someone independent will get hold of one soon. Would be funny if it did match the time after people have slated it!

Never you mind

Awesome! Although you won't be able to buy one at that price, they'll be flipped instantly for £250k+
Don't think they are a limited run. If your willing to wait you can have one at that price.

Lambo now has the best-handling and fastest supercar on the planet. Lambo's engineering team, five-plus years in the making, is now in a whole different league to the rest of the entire industry.

The game has changed.
'0-125mph in 8.9 seconds. Quick, but by the latter benchmark over a second off the pace of the new McLaren Super Series also making its debut in Geneva.'

So not as quick as the McLaren 720 then?

It also doesn't have a full carbon chassis like the McLaren.

Great car but hardly a 'different league'.

I don't doubt we will have the same 'Ring time fiasco between this, the 720s and the 488 Speciale when that arrives but that's just top trumps anyway.

So you haven't gone for the bare carbon door panels with pull straps like the Nurburgring car then?

650S and 675LT beat this already... But it's not all about straight line performance, there's drama, etc... Will be a great car this, but still not woo'd over by the brand/Huracan.

Are people really moaning that it's one second slowe to 125 than a turbo charged car?

I thought this was pistonheads? Do people not like having to work for their rewards now days?

Think of the noise, vibration. Feel and connection you'd get with a stonking N/A engine.
