£50k for an Audi repmobile is insane. If you're spending that kind of cash on a fast, loud, 4-seater, do it in style with a Bentley Continental 6.0 GT and lord it up like a PH director or midlevel drugdealer, not a travelling salesman.
Another crazy statement! Who that's considering something like a RS3 is going to go to themselves, 'wait a minute - if I spend another £150k I can get a Bentley'. jester

Yep, I agree. Or a comparison with a second hand old car with no warranty which we have already been through.

Of all the cars based on "repmobiles" this seems an odd one to pick on given its one of the cheapest fast german saloons/estates (what I think is being referred to by repmobile). If the RS3 is insane from a cost perspective what about the M3, C63, RS4, M5, E63, RS6 and V60 Polestar?

Well I am presuming that what was meant there was that it is in essence an A3! Yeah not a bad company car at all as long as you don't have to pay the fuel bill!

that is what i expected. Now I know I wont be able to learn from Piston Heads or Evo questions like does the Civic r handle well on poorly surfaced roads- as evo have shown, nor will i be able to ask Evo what in particular are the faults of the Focus RS. Ideas like these are always part of a story and thesis one publication or another has. The auto press has fallen down over the last bunch of years. j

I really like the look of it, I'm going to satisfy my curiosity and have a drive. I was in getting a service yesterday and they said it was going to be available for ordering/test driving pretty soon.
