Could potentially be an engineer who was doing a long trip and they wanted to see how it behaved. Have heard stories of similar things happening at Bentley & AML
My next door neighbour's son works for Aston. Despite being in his mid 20's he often comes home in an Aston, he is doing corrosion testing and has to walk around the car spraying it periodically with a saline solution. It would be fair to say that the engineering test cars are not always fully complete with all sorts of bits of trim missing.blueg33 said:

Almost certainly an engineer, who's been itching to have a go, but has had to wait for the press release as he doesn't have a garage to hide it in at home.p1stonhead said:

I miss the incongruous car thread. Does it still exist in some form? This is a thread topper.Having said that, as an abstract photo, it does tick all of the boxes for sticking one finger up to the elitists
PS: photo also one for the Bad Parking Thread!

If I were RR's PR dept. I'd be having words about who takes what where. This image doesn't align with its target customer base.

I doubt the any of the Rolls Royce target demographic will either be driving past that particular driveway or spending any of their spare time between meetings and the opera to happen upon some forum threads.Having said that, as an abstract photo, it does tick all of the boxes for sticking one finger up to the elitists

Also, they clearly wouldn't even know that the car is a Rolls Royce.
Because it isn't.
Look into my eyes...

Hi there,
Aston Martin Nottingham had their official launch party last night. Swung by today for a nosey and although the showroom was largely empty as they moved everything round after the event there were a couple of nice bits in the service area out the back

Shame AM didn't put the back end of the One-77 on to the back of the DB11. Missed an open goal there IMHO.Aston Martin Nottingham had their official launch party last night.
