Strong disagree from me
Was chatting to a mate from Hereford who says MI5/6 block bought all 007 plates and have given them to sad, middle aged, comb over, podgy, inadequate, attention seeking, company director "assets" along with a free Aston so THATS WHAT WE ALL THINK hence JB can jump in similar and drive all the way to the boathouse completely incognito
Probably.....................
Literally no idea what you just said. 007 plates are embarrassing and reveal much about the owner.

Wow, takes all sorts I guess
only one sort really... company director, 50-something, divorced (maybe twice), wraparound oakleys, "I actually DJ on weekends come down i'll get you on the guest list", also has a motorbike, hair transplant, red 'tan', maybe dabbling in steroids...Shnozz said:
I didn’t think they were any more. I thought all ME cars temporarily imported to the U.K. now has to have the number translated into English numbers. Certainly all the ME student cars in Leeds this summer have white plates with normal numbers.
What?Does this ME supercar nonsense happen in Leeds now?

We’ve had middle eastern registered cars in Leeds for a while. Some of the folks who come over to study at Leeds University bring their cars with them. Usually more mid level stuff rather than Chirons etc
Wow, that's unexpected, but cool. When I was at Leeds Uni, I drove a Metro

I promised to look after a German exchange student’s 20 year old LHD Mercedes W115 200 auto, during the Christmas holidays. Unfortunately I messed up trying to parallel park it on the street. I somehow failed to notice the pole of a kerbside parking sign and ended up reshaping the rear wing and peeling off the chrome trim strip. A few minutes at home hammering the dented bodywork back out from inside the boot and all was good. Well not really…
In time honoured fashion, when I handed it back to him in January, I just pretended that some other car must have scraped it and driven off without leaving their insurance details. He didn’t ask me to look after it over the Easter holidays…

I had a Series 1 RS Turbo, which was regarded as extremely chavvy at my rather posh uni. It was a bit if a shed, and insuring it in the kate 90s was challenging. Never thought they would be worth what they are now! When i went on to law school i had swaoped the RS for an MGB Roadster in similarly crusty condition...
