Think this is the press car?

But it’s fugly
It looks bad because the colours do not contrast well together. At least white and navy, black and gold, red and white, black and light blue.

I keep thinking it looks like new car protection film.

And the colours do not complement or follow in any way the shape/form of the car.

Certainly is, that plate is used for demos/press releases alot
The plate has been on many Ferraris over the years. It started off as a dealer plate----EHF1 = Evans Halshaw Ferrari, It looks like Evans Halshaw stopped selling Ferrari in the early 2000's with the Ferrari arm becoming PF (Evans) Ferrari. This car was at Goodwood this year and appears to now be a Ferrari press plate.
Thanks for the history of the plate. I always wondered what the letters meant! I don't suppose you know what Porsche's 911 HUL reg plate letters mean ?

Saw a Maybach GLS before, I'm presuming they are pretty rare seeing as there's only 3 on autotrader!
Yep, really rare. I saw a blue & silver one a couple of weeks ago, posted a pic of the colour combo on here. It had the reg MB21 GLS on it. It was not a pretty car!

I'm not really up on new Aston's, but I think I saw a new Aston Martin V12 Vantage last night in a metallic red with luminous pinstriping round the diffuser etc. I've not seen one before, so might have got the car wrong. It was really loud even on idle.

It looked like this. No front plate on it either, only one on the back.

Also a DBX a couple of days ago (apparently a 707) also in a metallic red, but a different colour, with huge black wheels on it. Like this but a different colour.

Was owned by Rod Hull, dedicated 911 fan, his second car was 911 EMU, a plate which Jay Leno has on his early 911.

Is there any evidence the plate came from Evans Halshaw? They were only Ferrari dealers for about 10 years, mostly through the 1990s. The plate has been on multiple press Ferraris since the 1980s via Maranello Concessionaires. There are pictures of it on a 288 GTO and a Testarossa, which I think predates Evans Halshaws time as a Ferrari dealer. I'm not sure if those two were press cars, so it may just be a plate that was on a car traded to Maranello and they decided to keep it.

Is it just me or does the non compliant numberplate detract from what is a gorgeous car?

The plate appeared on Evans Halshaw stands when they were selling Ferrari years ago. I asked an employee at the time and they confirmed it was Evans Halshaw Ferrari. I think the timing of me asking might be when they took on the franchise. Since then, the UK dealers have had a long and complex history so I am sure the plate bounced around. I believe EH is now Pendragon and Maranello is Sytner so rivals, but maybe the plate managed to cross over.

Either way, it confirms the plate is from the dealer network and not owned by Ferrari.

I'll back you up on that one, honestly.

Some angles of the SF90 are okay and it certainly looks better in some colours, but the rear end and rear 'trunk' area IMO are an absolute dogs dinner..

Sometimes the sf90 looks like something out of an early 2000 driving game that is trying to be futuristic. It is an engineering masterpiece, but the design leaves me cold. At least the Laf looks like it was designed mainly by a human and not just a computer.

That one above is a 296 GTB, isn't it? Not SF90.

Bloody hell I can't even tell these new Ferraris apart any more laugh

I stand firm though. The front ends are okay, but the rears are just.....
