Toyed with putting this in the ‘cars you never knew existed’ thread, but thought this was a more appropriate home.

But it isn't a supercar is it? laugh

Not exactly rare, lardy, ugly either!
It's got four exhausts - that used to be the mark of a Supercar!

3 carbs and fuel injection? I guess that's what being a council member (ret'd) gets you. smile

This is a bit poor but 71RD on M8 Glasgow no photo as driving on opposite carriageway.
It comes up as unknown McLaren.
It was orange with racing livery (black and white trim) and stickers
Anyone seen it before or more info?
Also lovely DB11 plate R64 on backroads from killearn to Glasgow yesterday

Looks like he hasn't ... there's a dropped kerb just behind the car.

Do it. I've a GTC which on the road at least is 90% of the R but with a little more comfort. Awesome cars

It's a long way to the next drop kerb. I'd be having kittens reversing down it the way it went up.

Off Topic - I was in my wife's SLK230 at the lights on the roundabout below the M4 at Slough. Before me was a quarter of roundabout and the slip road up to the motorway heading west. Next to me drew up an AMG GT. The passenger nodded approval of my three pointed star. At least, I guess that's what it was. We didn't have a lot more in common. The lights changed and we set off. Although I do like to press on, I understood how different the two cars' were in terms of performance. The slip road is about a quarter of a mile long. When I reached this end, the GT was at the other. By 'eck, it were quick.
