As ridiculous as it sounds, I knew someone who had these wheels on a late 80s VantageTIGA84 said:

Why weren't you allowed to take a picture - its a car, not a government classified file?
It was inside a workshop I was visiting and they were very kindly helping me out in a huge way. They said no photos so I had to respect their wishes. This was presumably in a private workshop and not in the window where it can be seen from public land. If the car is on public roads or can be seen from such, fair game. But not in a private place. There are many reasons why the owner potentially not want to see pictures of his car on the internet.
The owner of the workshop has done the one and only correct thing and asked him not to take any photographs, reasonable imho, wouldn't you agree?

Are they Ruf wheels? They look perfect to me.They honestly looked great on that Vantage AT THE TIME, but then I thought AZEV A wheels looked great on my Integrale EVO AT THE TIME in 1996!

Imagine you own a very rare, very special car, and while browsing the internet you find random people posting pictures of it while the car is the workshop having work done. It is not there to be sold.
