it does seem to be fashionable at the mo for car makers to offer paints which look like you left a coloured sock in with a white wash

Agreed but anything’s better than black, grey, and dark tones.
I’ve seen enough of that on supercars.

I’ve spotted a filthy dirty Zonda in those parts before. I believe there is a serial Pagani owner that lives in those parts.

Never seen a Pagani on the road before, and to see that was something else! Guy driving it didn't even look that old. I made the wrong life choices!!!!
