BTW, it’s easy to take atmospheric pics on this road at night because of the moody streetlighting (a mere point ‘n’ shoot, auto settings, iPhone Mini), which I’m guessing is gas – some kind of conservation area?

Yep. Interesting that the paintwork in the engine bay is a different colour from the external panels.Yep that’s standard from the factory.
