Powertrain is GTS4. Cooling from a GT3 as it allows a nose clearance. Suspension featured a [highly] modified version of the existing front axle lift system, fitted to all 4 corners and uprated to allow use at a higher speed.

I remember looking at one of those AMG GT Rs when they came out. I was amazed how many of the add on bits were just cheap black plastic. Appalling for a near £150k super car. Even a humble Lotus at almost half the price would have come with plenty of top quality carbon fibre parts.leggly said:

I'd not quite so extreme but I rather struggle to get excited about yet another 911 variant. I love a 911 but for me I'd be happy with almost any one in the range but I couldn't see myself being excited enough to pay a massive premium to buy one of the unobtainable models. There's a footbridge that passes over a dual carriageway, a footpath-free hill, in Newbury. It's called The Link and was built to ease congestion decades before the bypass. The footbridge and no pedestrians are key elements in the local 'how fast by the bridge' tradition. Yesterday, for the second time in the thirty years I've lived here, I walked across the bridge. I stopped briefly to look at the cars below. None were attempting any records. A McLaren drove slowly past going downhill. Which was odd. Then a Galardo drove slowly past going uphill.
A hundred and thirty by the bridge? Nope. Forty, tops, both of them. It was surreal.
