Is that the model bought by Dictators and Jeremy Clarkson?

I would love one of those at some point but I don't fancy the maintenance and upkeep... lol
That was the 600 Grosser, really classy car.

On a side note, I absolutely cannot believe the Huracan is 10 years old!! It looks like it was designed 6 weeks ago.

Staying at the Brooklands Hotel? I had excellent rack of lamb there many years ago.

Ha Ha, red handed! It’s always a good place for car spotting!

The lamb sounds good, I thought I had ordered a burger but made a right clanger and ordered a veggi burger by mistake! Doh!

Pretty sure that Porsche drove past me yesterday coming off at Painshill I was going towards the junction from Weybridge, same area as Brooklands and doubtful there would have been 2 in the area at the same time.

I saw this at a hotel.in Bruge I was staying in on a recent mini motorcycle tour I did.
A nice colour scheme but I wouldn't fancy touring in it but fair play to him if he was going far.

Probably just me, but most of the modern cars in the last page or so look like a nice car underneath that crashed into a 1970s Ripspeed shop, the decent car underneath is hidden by ugly bulky add ons that detract from the styling, not enhance it.

Jeremy's green 600 was the standard wheelbase 4 door like the one in the OPs pic. There was also a lwb 4 door with 3 rows of seats, the full dictator spec 6 door with rear facing rear seats, and for those with bottomless pockets, the 6 door landaulet.

Standard wheelbase

LWB 4 door

6 door

Landaulet

Mercedes also built 2 coupes for chief designer Rudolf Uhlenhaut and head of R&D Fritz Nallinger, but they were never intended for production

Not many cars would still look stylish with 6 doors but the lines of the 600 make it look great no matter how long it gets. Such a great design.

Remarkable pics, thanks.
That original pic of the one driving along the road was taken at Mercedes Benz World. There's always some amazing cars waiting in the service car park, so I assume this had just had been seen to (I can't imagine what the bill would be for something like this!)

Wasn't it the "Auto Italia" day at Brooklands over this weekend?

Like that a lot!

There's probably loads of 600s out there that are ruined so perfect for this conversion!
