918 in strange livery
Emulating the Dutch Police colours that adorned 365s and 911s over the years. Needs a blue light !!
I half knew that too ,see comment above re a Countach.

I also have a blurry pic of a 911 in those colours but can't see which country it's from.

edited to add pic ,well it does have a yellow front plate so could another NL.

Completely agree; when it comes to car culture, the Japanese have a strange sense of aesthetics.

This was also out and about during the weekend, separate to above meet, and may help readdress matters:

I like the neat looking W124 Merc sneaking into the right of frame!

Different car, but I can offer up this example...

As well as being a great thread, the chance happening upon a French car show delivers some great cars, worth a look for those interested in this thread

I've got too many pics from Italy.

2 blokes posing in Marina di Pisa, other being a grown man in a California, backwards baseball cap on.

I wasn't posing of course in a comedy FIAT.

They're both cars from Porsche Center Gelderland (OPC). I believe the 911 is a original ex-police car. Dutch "Rijkspolitie" used to drive 911 Targa's for policing the motorways. The 918 is a tribute to those cars.

I'm pretty certain I spotted a White 17 plate LFA. It was a really brief glimpse, so I'm not a 100% certain.

Anyone know if there's one based in or around Essex

Did it have the big fixed wing? If so it’s a fairly well known Nurburgring spec LFA.

I remember seeing a yellow one speed off past me in Arizona. Lovely car.

TBH I was concentrating on the traffic ahead of me and saw it parked up on the opposite side of the road. I couldn't say with any certainty if it had a rear spoiler or not.

I understand there are 2 white ones in the UK. I just don't know if either one of them is on a 17 plate

Are sure it wasn't a Lexus LC? At speed coming towards you, they can seem similar.
