Discussion
Don't think I have ever seen one of these in the flesh. Was kinda nice actually.

Followed by a Balboni Gallardo going the other way
Spotted it again shortly after in an underground car park, with the owner switching to his other car, the Aventador.
My god it was loud in there!

Probably one of the rarest cars in the U.K I’d wager... only 100 or so made in Japan and maybe a handful here.
NA2 (facelift) NSX-R. Amazing car. Just awesome.
As an avid Honda man it was an absolute privilege to see it in the flesh and made my day!!
Nice! Was it being imported?NA2 (facelift) NSX-R. Amazing car. Just awesome.

Saw an F40 behaving itself on the A429 earlier near Stow-on-the-Wold. I don't think I've ever seen one that wasn't red. This one certainly was. A bit later, not in the same league but still interesting, I passed a Studebaker coming out of Membury Services. I was in my truck and waited for him to pass but he must have been going at a very stately pace and didn't catch me.

Plenty of them still on the show circuit, with a great many having been 'dubbed' and modified quite extensively. The real rarity is seeing a stock one!STIfree said:
Difficult to tell from the pictures, but certainly a bitsa of some kind. The decals aren't original or course (both door and rear), the door mirrors are 4 litre styling, the fenders are apparently the carbon ones (optional on the 4 litre and GT2 RS but not the 3.8), the front PU looks like a 3.8 RS with the red insert. Obviously the splitters weren't originally painted either, so why they went for orange to match nothing else on the car is a mystery. Brakes don't look right either - I reckon that it is a tarted up Carrera GTS from what I can see. Lets face it : nobody with an original RS is going to put the word Carrera on the door are they?DiscoColin said:

If I was Honda I would be suing the plastic surgeon for that facelift. They turned a pretty car into a gopping munter.Butter Face - where's that? Looks like a pair of R33s and an FC-series 'rex there too (as well as a DC5).

They did some mapping on my EP3 while I dribbled over the NSX and they also let me take out their time attack FK2 into town too!
