Hi there,

I know not strictly within the rules as its in a dealers but when you hear on the grapevine the local Lexus dealer has an LFA for sale it would be rude not to pay a visit.

A snip at £495,000

i think they're meant to be a good car, not a pretty car.

They are overly fussy but in proportion they look good. Would have one in a heartbeat for THAT engine alone.

Anyway, orange Performante beating up the Banbury Road just outside Stratford this morning. Sounded sublime...

There was one outside a bespoke dealer opposite the Kensington Hilton, next to Olympia the other day.

Those wheels aren’t period for the car. Not saying it’s not an Alpina though. The wheels could have been added later.
As it's pre-facelift then it's a B3 3.3 Coupe or very early B3 S Coupe.
The wheels seem to be 19" wheels off a E60 B5.
This should hopefully help on the first point...

A few more from Tokyo...
G12 B7 BiTurbo (RHD)

In contrast to the LHD version of this model the RHD version doesn't have 4WD but puts 608hp through the rear wheels.

One of 33 Japan-spec cars produced, of which 18 in Alpina Blue.
In addition to the Japan-spec cars, only a handful were produced for Australia, UK and Singapore...
Thanks, great info. So this LHD car is actually a very different spec...

Sydney is right - Black Series had fixed roof, regular V12 was still convertible.
I believe you are correct, apologies.
I still think the car in question has a Black Series bodykit on though which threw me.

The latest generation 7-series and 5-series are quite similar from some angles.
However I believe this is a G30 B5 BiTurbo

Brand new Aston vantage in the esso garage near Stanmore.

X88 AMV.

The headlights looked far too small for the front of the car.

In the Pay and Display car park in Salcombe.

It was a bit long but top marks for parking it tidily among the regular cars.

The registration will appear in the Category 3 Plates thread in a minute.

The one on the cliff road? Top marks for him driving it up there in the first place....
The majority of South Devon roads are not what I'd call wide supercar friendly

It was in Shadycombe, so he'd negotiated several single car width passing places and tight turns between stone walls to get there. It really was just parked, there was no anxious owner hovering around shooing people away.

The sign of a really wealthy owner - that'll be the daily beater.
