DVLA has that down as 3400cc (June 1989), whereas the 959 was 2849cc (1986 - 1988).

The car looks correct and is also correct LHD, so maybe usual DVLA cock-up?

EDIT: just seen this very point has been raised over in the classics forum
The chassisnumber indicates it's a 959.

Bears a striking resemblance to the 1970s FE Vauxhall Victor from the GM stable.

Tough call. Do you drive it every day in the hope that it gets damaged, or hide it away so that nobody has to look at it.

I hated the way these looked when they were launched, and time has not been kind.
Get out.

I don’t rate it as a car but I rate the owner for driving it daily with the idiots that drive in London.

Saw a bright yellow Mclaren Senna in Birmingham this morning, couldn't believe my eyes. Still a gawky looking thing, I was driving and it was going the opposite way so didn't get pics or a good look at it but it has some road presence still! Any idea where it could have been headed?

Great spot. Saw this accelerating off the entry ramp to the M40 just south of Beaconsfield. I was on a charge myself at the time, but I’ll never forget this thing squat, and then just rocket off. Always loved the 959.
