or the originally open front wing slashes on the TVR Sagaris. Except that's a self-own because all it does is cause chippings to break your own windscreen.

The law is a percentage. I design cars for a living and always get sent envelopes to cover by engineeering. If you look at a Caterham or something that will be set on the minimum.
well the law isn't a percentage, but compliance with it can be achieved with some degree of flexibility.
In racing you can have flexibility and push the boundaries, but when companies and journalists call normal motors ' race car for the road' it's just nonsense.

Mr Joe Average would bin most race cars in a ditch/wall/fence given the chance.

Fecking stupid design and very dangerous. As an ex-biker I HATE that, it is a fecking machine gun !.
Exactly. Not only possible damage but high potential danger of an incident for followers.

This is important and not widely understood. I proudly took my RS2 to an Audi track day at Castle Combe, gleeful in the knowledge I would have one of the fastest cars there. In the paddock was an NSU Prinz in race trim. To my eternal shame I was a bit snooty about it. Why would anyone bother, I wondered. On one session we were in the same group. He came past me like I was tied to a tree and disappeared. And then he lapped me. And I wasn't hanging about. Okay it was hotted up and lightened but deep down it was an NSU Prinz with the engine out the back. To drive it like that must have needed extraordinary ability and experience. If I'd been let loose with it I'd have demolished the scrutineer's tent.

A few from Tokyo...

First Portofino I’ve seen on the road, don’t think the colour shows it at its best...

Nice classic Pagoda SL...

Gangster Phantom...

62S...

Almost missed this one...

Nice SV...

Mansory mods...

Alpina...

And finally, not a supercar, nor a rarity, but it looked super cool...

Wasn’t there a fundamental flaw in the chassis design of these?

Hi,

Love the Carver, popped along to an owners club meeting last year. There were 3 cars there in total as well as loads of bubble cars.

Not too much around London recently. Although this 550 does look very nice, they aged well didn't they.

Yes, they have aged very well.

There's a kind of Aston Martin Sage Green one in Woodford that I pass often, and in that subtle colour it just looks superb. Probably the only 'modern' Ferrari I'd like to own.

They have, but red doesn't flatter them.

how many of those are on the road then?
Triumph Rocket IIIs in general? Thousands. Specifically with that kind of mudguard, likely to be in the hundreds, they're popular with customisers.

Yup, one of the older guys in my local branch of the TOMCC asks all of us with "modern" bikes to stay behind him on group rides because we pebbledash him on country lanes.

Awesome. If you have a 918 in NYC you can drive around the reservoir in Central Park (normally reserved for service vehicles). Nice little perk.
