No, they were closed off due to the large amount of time it took to cut them open (a few man days), and the Russian was worried about warranty fibreglass repairs coming back to the factory later on.

Clarkson made up the rubbish around stones bing chucked up..... Except the second prototype Sagaris (Candy, owned by Gaffer on here), did have some leaking issues and the like that they worked though. The story may have come from that....

Pics of mine at Rockingham this year, just because...

Thanks for that info.

On the subject of slots ,I know you used to have an Escort Cosworth ,as did I.

I have a fibreglass bonnet for one of those ,with the vent slots not cut out ,that's a lot of cutting time needed to sort that out.

smile

Your car looks lovely BTW.

or the originally open front wing slashes on the TVR Sagaris. Except that's a self-own because all it does is cause chippings to break your own windscreen.
Rubbish, do try to get knowledge away from Top Gear drivel. As a Sagaris owner with the slats cut out, I can assure you this isn't the case. Just like it's not the case for all road cars with cut slats, from Moslers to McLarens.
I am sure it doesn't chip screens, but lots of crap comes out through them. Had a chat with a Mosler owner on that specific point at Caring with Cars a few years ago.
would be interested to know why TVR chose to close the slats in later examples, if not from problems resultant from the openings.

i am sure you are going to reference your TVR creds here, but are you sure? Can GRP not just be moulded with holes? Days of labour sounds very unlikely to me.

You lot can carry on your meaningless and photoless arguing for the next 20 pages if you like but Don1 wins it.

A: for the car
B: for posting a photo of it............

Seems like the rarest thing on this topic at the moment are the photos themselves hehe........

This thread needs a photo. Have a McLaren, the crap photo doesn't show how stunning the purple on this car was.

Interesting. Looks like more like a Maserati tipo 54 replica. Can’t believe it’s a genuine Ferrari though.

Okay, this may be cheating slightly, but watching one of those UK Dashcam compilations just now and in one of the clips spotted a very nice looking classic 911 - Googled the reg and turns out it's the 'Manchester' Singer 911..

Better photo of the car, posted by a member on here a couple of years ago:

wow. Parked so off centre of the parking space in the bottom shot that it's giving me chills imaging the owner of the XF or whatever it is dinging the door as he squeezes his lardy ass inside!

2 minutes on foot from my house as I pass the BP garage , a white LHD Lexus LFA pulls out of the side road by Romans

showroom ,I assume owner might have been browsing the delicious stock.

He gave it plenty of wellington as he pulled off ,which pleased the mobile wielding bloke who has probably put it on YouTube by now ,

I haven't checked ,I might also have a walk on part in that ,unfortunanately.

I don't remember if I've ever seen a LFA being driven before ,not sure if I like or dislike the "zingy" noise it made as the owner

booted it away.

I prattled on to divert from the fact I don't have pics.

Reg V100 LFA
That was me , the lad who does the social media for romans asked me to give it some beans out of the junction as he’d never heard one before . Would have been rude not to
