Supercars spotted, some rarities (vol 7)
Discussion
Not something you expect to see sitting in the corner of a supermarket carpark in Sandhurst. Nice gloss grey Aventador S Roadster with a strange number plate and the darkest window tint I have ever seen (and it’s not a trick of the camera, the windscreen is also tinted the same level as the side windows)
Ps. For a minute I thought it may have been some sort of lifesize model for display due to the midnight black windows hiding the interior but it did appear to have all the oily bits under the skin and the tyres were driven on

That's a UK style Qatari platePs. For a minute I thought it may have been some sort of lifesize model for display due to the midnight black windows hiding the interior but it did appear to have all the oily bits under the skin and the tyres were driven on
No photo, so I used a library picture - I saw a Renault Sport Spider in Holland at the weekend (including having the rather awkward roof erected as shown), the first I ever saw outside of a race meeting paddock. I would have fallen off my chair in surprise but I was driving at the time. Any owners on here by the way?

I wonder how frustrated that makes the police over here. The windows were so dark that if you crouched down and looked 'through' the car you could not see any light at all from the other side. Must be pretty dangerous to drive it at night with a windscreen that dark?Civpilot said:

(I doubt he has a UK licence). He must have got the car in the country like that somehow?

Army officer cadet. Gulf states send them for training and they all drive outrageously expensive cars.Ps. I saw this a couple of days ago on New Bond Street in London. Parked outside the IWC watch shop (behind it's own velvet rope!), presumably it is the Merc 300 SL that David Coulthard will race at Goodwood this weekend. It is stunning and I nearly fell off my bike as I went past. No-one else gave it even a second glance...

Not a fair fight - but the front drivers all drove superbly so should be happy with their efforts.
Hi there,
Spotted this yesterday in the local Tesco car park.
Had to Google it as despite being a true petrolhead I simply didn't recognise the car. Turns out is a Vignale Fiat Samantha.

also another one I had to Google turns out this is a Lotus Elan Plus 2 prototype (albeit a replica).
and this which is one heck of a tow car
Regards
Tim

I wonder if that's a recent restoration - it's appeared on the net quite a lot recently, has come up several times in FB "spotted" groups.Spotted this yesterday in the local Tesco car park.
