Sorry to interrupt, chaps, but this is possibly the best place to ask “where in London, specifically, would be a good place to take an easily impressed five year old to see some Ferrari type vehicles?”

It’s the holidays and I thought it might be nice to show him some in a 1:1 scale for a change but don’t fancy a wild goose chase just hanging around in Belgravia with my fingers crossed. Also, is the weekend the best time or are we likely to go home wagging our tails any day of the week?

Thanks in advance.
The Dorchester Hotel would be a good start, and the surrounding streets. Side streets off Park Lane are often interesting.
Agree with the above, happy hunting

And with the Dorchester being on Park Lane, you’ve some nice dealers nearby too. Bob Forstner will let you in but ask for a charitable donation. When they allowed me in, they actually turned a couple of people away who, to be honest, looked a bloody mess.

And as said, streets nearby good hunting ground as is Berkeley Square (Jack Barclay Rolls/Bentley/Bugatti) and Old Bond Street.

By the use of so many exclamation marks I see you are rather astounded that you’ve seen an Aventador on the streets of London. They are like starlings down here...I’d be much more excited if I’d have seen a Mk1 Escort myself. Modern supercars are sooo boring nowadays...everybody’s got one!

It's "up there", not down! wink

The strange thing is, I have seen a fair few Lamborghinis over the last week, even down here in Gosport we followed a Countach for a mile or so. Which was nice.

My youngest has a big thing for Lamborghinis - especially if they are purple! !!!

I was thinking the same, a few years ago I saw a different coloured Noble in Guildford with that plate, I know he used to live in the Guildford area but not sure if he still does now.

Hi, this is my first on post on pistonheads and have followed this thread for quite a while, enjoying the combination of modern supercars and also the less obvious rarities, whilst my spots are nowhere near top quality, i hope they'll add something to the thread.
