What's the problem? It's just got non-standard wheels and tyres. In what way is it "a waste"? It's obviously being used, so why do you presume it's being 'wasted'?
This is what I alluded to a few posts back; what’s up with it, it’s not been turned into a Bullitt/Eleanor/Shelby clone which seems to be the fate of many. Non standard wheels granted but is that it?wolfracesonic said:

Not a huge fan of yellow cars, but that Ferrari is very pretty.
Agreed. The 458 has dated very well and will always look better than the 488 IMO.Although very cool and all that, am I alone in thinnking the Mercedes SLR is an eyesore?

Why does the Californian sunlight always bring out the best in car photos? I mean it’s the same sun that (occasionally) shines on us, but photos taken in California always look more vivid.
I know!Its depressing
I had a McLaren in Volcano Red in the UK.
It NEVER looked that good.
Stunning colour though !

What colour is the shrubland in California. SandyWhat colour is the shrubland in the pic above. Dark moss
The surroundings reflect back brighter in California. If someone could make the lower pic have bright sandy hills behind it, the colour would resonate better
