Why does the Californian sunlight always bring out the best in car photos? I mean it’s the same sun that (occasionally) shines on us, but photos taken in California always look more vivid.
The quality of light around the world differs. In the UK, we tend to have blue or grey sunlight, whereas in other parts of the world, it can be more yellow or orange.

This is why (the current) Guards Red Porsches are perceived as pink by some in some parts of the world, where it definitely looks red in Europe most of the time. There is also seasonal variation in many parts of the world.

One of the few cars I’ve never seen on the road. Rare as rocking horse poo presumably?

I've not seen one on road in UK ,have seen some in Italy though.

Wikipedia lists 260 car of all types ,so quite a rarity.

Huge list of limited editions though.....confused

You might find this car interesting! My friend just took delivery of this Manthey-tuned 997.1 GT3 RS. It was owned by an important person connected to the 'Ring. It seems to be a complete weapon!

Flemke, I understand, from your older posts, that you are a big Manthey fan. Do you have one of your own at all (if I can be so crass to ask)? smile

Spotted in York the other day, very understated look for what the car is, I thought.

That is absolutely gorgeous. Saw a viper green 997 GT3 RS this weekend in the wild, such a cool car.

i've never got into that thread but clicking through i am surprised a thread series that is just people asking a guy questions can stretch to that many volumes... how interesting can one guy be, regardless of how wealthy?!

Half of them live up his arse.

He seems like a decent fella but the sycophancy is cringe worthy.
