Half of them live up his arse.

He seems like a decent fella but the sycophancy is cringe worthy.
i wonder if he enjoys the extreme attention, or if he'd prefer to end the thread but is too polite. Maybe we will never know.

Anyway... supercars.

i've never got into that thread but clicking through i am surprised a thread series that is just people asking a guy questions can stretch to that many volumes... how interesting can one guy be, regardless of how wealthy?!
It's a very wide-ranging thread from what I've seen of it, far more than just lots of people asking one guy questions.

It doesn't centre around him being wealthy either, I mean obviously he is he owns an F1 but he doesn't come across as boastful or anything on the thread imo just a guy who is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the F1

never said he was boasting, and he didn't start the first thread off clearly (see title), just surprised by the sheer volume of posts.

I understand the porche 959 was an engineering masterpiece during its inception. But now it resembles a 911 kit car.It such an awkward looking car.

I thought it was a stupid-looking thing even when it was new.

Does the 959 have adjustable-height suspension? That looks waaay too high to be correct.

Yes it does. It can be raised like that if you fancy a bit off-road action. Not sure whey you'd have it like that on normal roads though ?

don't forget, this and the 288 GTO were originally designed for Group B rallying.

Spotted in New Orleans a couple of weeks ago. It's a Ferrari Conciso built by a German chap called Bernd Michalak, essentially a rebodied 328.

I think the GTO was intended for a stillborn Group B circuit race series, not rallying. 959 also. The 959 did yield the 961 Prototype at Le Mans and also a Rallye Raid version for Paris-Dakar.

That white 959 has been on these pages before, with its high stance commented on back then also. I am sure it’s just because it’s being used in London.
