I really can't see the appeal apart from speed. In my opinion from a design point of view they look a complete mess. Why anyone would buy a McLaren over a Ferrari is something I find hard to fathom.
Rigid cell, amazing ride, natural steering feel, visibility, storage space, build quality - and speed. Why would you buy a 488 when you could get a 720? Not that I have driven a 720, but I was blown away by the 650.

Not sure why the pics all wobbly
I like Lamborghinis, I do, but I can't put my finger on it, but the Aventador looks..bad. Like an overstyled cartoon, and not in a good way.

As much as I like any sort of sharknose front, this is absolutely gross.

Years ago everyone laughed about the "Monster Fronts" which some Barry Boys fitted to their hatchbacks,

now these oversized side nostrils seem all the rage and accepted, not by me.

Looks like it's sporting a mouth brace. You'll probably find bits of spinach get stuck in it.

I wonder what it'll actually look like when it goes into production.

Here's the rear and interior

I saw a blue Z8 driving around Exeter a couple of days ago, no pic though.
Only 54 currently on the road in the UK apparently. Nice to see them about.

There's one that I see regularly, near my office. The owner just leaves it parked in his driveway, sometimes with a car cover on.

Today I saw an Aston Martin V8 vantage - old school Vantage 'The Saint' body style. Also followed an 'A' plate white LHD Fiat 1600i roadster, a McLaren MP4 12C & an 'F' plate LHD Ford Mustang convertible.

Not a bad day for the roads around Gloucester.

You're going to have to explain this one to me. They're usually called 'saloon' or 'OI', but what's The Saint got to do with it?

OK you persuaded us but I suspect you meant to frighten the living daylights out of us.

As in this:

Because I don't know the model code so the likeness to the Simon Templar car was the best I could do - it was the same basic shape as the Simon Templar car.

The car I saw had a deep front air dam with the radiator being blanked off. Don't have a photo - only the registration number.

It also had a small boot spoiler with twin fuel filler caps above the boot hinges.

It isn't wink

If you'd said "The actor who played The Saint drove one of them in The Persuaders", you might have saved your PH membership. I'm afraid, however, that you may be asked to hand in your membership card... smile
