Supercars spotted, some rarities (vol 7)
Discussion
My best spot of last year was back in the Summer, in a small South Wales town, when I thought I saw a Bugatti Veyron coming around a roundabout. Managed to get behind it a mile further on only to realize it was actually a Chiron. Followed it for a couple of miles around the area. A very rare spot around there.

TBH. I prefer LHD on fast stuff.
Why? Most cars have been designed to be LHD first and then "modified" to be RHD. Often pedal/seat/wheel alignment is off slightly. But also stuff like switchgear is wrong. A friend bought the new Merc A Class last year (aside from the numerous faults that resulted in them buying the thing back and getting her another one! ) The electric hand brake button was completely obscured by the steering wheel!
The black trim to the right has the headlight switch, the roller for brightness of controls. And hidden by the steering wheel the release for the hand brake.
Heres the same car but LHD.
Its the exact same light switch. Only because its on the left hand side. Now you can see the hand brake button. And obscured is the brightness for the interior lights. Which you never touch anyway.
I mean don't get me wrong it was a pile of st that refused top unlock/lock. The gear selector is on the column and made of probably the cheapest plastic on the planet! The infotainment is as unintuitive as trying to fly a space shuttle on a provisional car licence. The steering wheel controls were also ste!
But it just made me think that Mercedes didn't give a st about non LHD variants.
Little things
Of course, I also subscribe to the "little bit more interesting" ascetic. And if you want something a bit more limited in availability. There are generally more LHD versions of it on sale in Europe.
Obviously a daily should always be RHD though, just because car parks and the like are a bit easier. But cars you'll only drive occasionally....

WRT the above Rolls Royce tow car pictures, near to me there is a family business that used to have wedding cars and seems to buy and sell various older RR and Bentley stuff.
Outside recently was one of these (not actual car)
Towing a trailer loaded with one of these (again not the actual car)
If I see it again, I promise to stop and take a picture
Edinburgh? Outside recently was one of these (not actual car)

I actually saw the combo of Rolls Royce tow car and Aston Martin Lagonda on a trailer in Bristol

I'd say that's just a ridiculous place to have a hand brake button anyway, it's just un-natural. I know the levers of old are long gone in most cars but you still instinctively put your hand on the center console when stopping.
Had to move a colleague's GLC before Xmas...genuinely took me 5 minutes to find the handbrake release (little chromed rocker, half-hidden on the lower-dash panel next to the driver's door, i.e. about knee-height - the sort of location you'd expect a bonnet release. WTAF?!?)
