Never liked the look of the Senna, but the GTR in the flesh changes things instantly. My god..
Is it because they've finally put the rear wing in the right place on the GTR? I still don't like it though...

I don't like the barcode style striping on that ^^
I do hope that it's accurate and if you scanned it it wouldn't come up as a tin of Tesco Value beans

Those two ferraris are terrible. The ride height, the staggered wheels, the painjob, the arches

Disagree. The story behind them and their purpose (SEMA) make perfect sense. The quality of work put in to realise them is deeply impressive. Both cars have air suspension too.

doesn't change my opinion. I don't really value SEMA, just seems daft to me.

Ok - probably not a super car - but a filthy dirty 993 Turbo out in Bath has to be in with a shout?

I'd say it is, but then again a have a 993, great to see it used and dirty, too many spend time all covered up.

Went to see the "So British" exhibition in Autoworld museum Brussels today. I would be very annoyed if my 20 million quid car would have a blemished rearview mirror. Are those not stock items from a '80s or '90s regular middle class car? Can it not be replaced or repared?

A few more from Tokyo...
Always great shots to enjoy from you.... thanks. smile

Is running a supercar massively expensive in Japan?
Broadly speaking I would say no more expensive than in the UK - new car prices are similar, financing deals probably cheaper (see below), but servicing and parts more expensive as there is less competition/fewer non-franchise specialists. Parts for older cars also often have to be shipped from overseas, increasing costs and repair times.

Depreciation is also heavier here - domestic supercar buyers typically want to buy new, and pre-owned cars are often sold to the Middle East, Germany or Canada (LHD, km markets) depending on prevailing exchange rates.

Continental GT at 2.49%:
Interesting - thanks.... I had thought it might be like Singapore and prohibitive.
