Great fun to drive.

And the boot is vast - you could get three people in there. Sitting around a table.

Bristol Beaufighter

Sounded great and looked very comfy inside.
Excellent, styling so awful it’s cool!
And a great name. ‘What are you driving now?’ A Bristol Beaufighter....

Article here about him and his collection:

I knew his father had quite a collection, didn’t know it ran in the family.

For those who may not have realised, this Bamford Family is the owner of JCB construction equipment.

Apologies for the truely awful picture but the car is worth it! Grey McLaren F1 (R533OGF) heading into London on the M1 yesterday afternoon. He went past me on the way north in the morning too! What a sound lick

It amuses me that when you buy an exclusive car, you end up going round in a pack with other owners of exclusive cars.

Makes you a bit less exclusive, IMO...

The design of the Senna is abysmal, McLaren always try to excuse the design by telling everyone 'engineering and aerodynamics dictates the design' which of course is half-bks.

The Bora is such a beautiful car.

Perhaps you could inform me, having never had the opportunity to see both side by side to compare, is the Bora essentially Merak with a V8 and slightly different buttresses/rear lid, or are they substantially different models? TIA.

Essentially the same. They were developed alongside one another, with the Merak intended to be a lower cost, higher volume seller.
